A week ago I went to a Thai restaurant with my cousins.
We ordered a curry beef, one ingredient that I didn't expect was litchi.
I'm not a fan of this fruit, but a dish with litchi was not bad at all.
Now I'm gonna show you what I made tonight!
Shrimps 10 pieces
Tinned litchi 1 tin
Leek 1
Tomato paste 1 tablespoon
Garlic(chopped) 2 gloves
Oil 2 tablespoon
Soy sauce 1 tablespoon
Wine 1 tablespoon
Salt a pinch
Salt a pinch
Marinade shrimps
Corn starch 1 teaspoon
Pepper a pinch
Salt a pinch
Sesame oil 1 teaspoon
Oil 1 teaspoon
Ok, let's get started!
Cut the leek into small pieces.
Boil some water.
Put a pinch of salt and leek into the pan.
Cook it for 2 minutes.
Remove the water and put the leek on a plate.
Peel the shrimps.
Remove the gut of the shrimps.
Let the water of the shrimp soak into a kitchen paper.Marinade the shrimps. (see marinade shrimps)
Heat the wok and put 2 tablespoon of oil in it.
Put the garlic and tomato paste in the wok.
Put the shrimps into the wok.
Cook them.
Put a tablespoon of wine in the wok.
Put the leek in the wok and stir.
At the end put a tablespoon of soy sauce in the wok.
Put the litchi in the wok and stir it for 30 seconds.
Serve it with a plate.
Enjoy!!!

Litchi in combination with shrimps?
Very strange combination but I think it's worth to try... but I can't always buy litchi's where I live.. That's very bad..
I always have to travel because of my work, I really hope someday someone can make delicious food for me when I'm home..
