There are many ways to prepare a dish with beef. For example a nice piece of steak on the grill, stewed beef and you can also have them stir fried. It's a quick and easy way, this technique is also in common used in the Asian kitchen. Today I want to show you how to make a Asian style of stir fried beef cubes. I hope you will like it!
Ingredients (3 servings)
300g beef
1/2 onion
1 red bell pepper
2 cloves garlic
2 tbs oil
Marinade beef
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbp water
1 tsp corn starch
1 tsp ground pepper
Seasoning
1 tbs soy sauce
1 tbs Worcestershire sauce
1 tbs sugar
1 tsp ground black pepper
1 tsp water
1 tsp corn starch
Method
1. Cut the beef in cubes and marinade for minimum 30 minutes.
2. Cut the onion and bell peppers in chunks.
3. Chop the garlic finely.
4. Heat 2 tbs oil. Add garlic and onion.
Cook for 1 minute over low heat.
5. Add beef cubes and sauté over medium heat till it's 50% done.
6. Add bell peppers and stir fry. Season the dish and taste it.
Sprinkle extra ground pepper on top.
Serve with steamed rice or boiled potato.
Note
* Flavour the dish with extra seasoning if it's necessary.
